Kathy (Owner / Director)
Kathy is the proud owner of the salon and brings with her a wealth of experience, with over 30 years in the hairdressing industry. She began her career in Surrey, where she was fortunate to be trained and mentored by an inspiring employer who helped shape her passion for hairdressing and the high standards she carries today.
After relocating to Devon many years ago, Kathy took the exciting step of opening her own salon in 2011, and she hasn’t looked back since. Her dedication, creativity and commitment to both her clients and team have helped the salon grow into what it is today.
Kathy is incredibly proud of the salon she has built and the talented team she works alongside, creating a welcoming space where clients can relax and enjoy exceptional hairdressing. ✨
Ange (Director)
Ange grew up in Northampton and knew she wanted to become a hairstylist after watching a hairdresser friend being creative with colour. That early inspiration sparked a passion for hairdressing that continues to drive her today.
Ange particularly loves working with colour, especially when creating vibrant shades and beautiful dimensional brunettes for her guests. Alongside colouring, she also enjoys cutting, helping clients achieve styles that suit their look and lifestyle.
As well as working with her clients, Ange enjoys supporting the salon’s apprentices, offering advice, sharing techniques and helping them build their confidence and skills within the industry. ✨
Rosie (Director)
Rosie has been with Nirvana from the very beginning and is a much-loved member of the team. With many years of experience in colouring, cutting and styling, she has built a loyal client base who trust her creativity and skill.
Rosie is a true cutting superstar. Whether you’re looking for a wolf cut, mullet or pixie, she’s the stylist to see for a bold and beautifully executed style.
She also loves creating elegant hair-up styles, making her the perfect choice if you’re attending a party, prom or wedding and want a stylish, polished look. ✨
Zoe (Director / Vivid Colour Specialist)
Zoe is a true artist and constantly amazes us with her creative colours and unique patterns. If you’re looking for a vibrant or bold colour, Zoe has the vision and skill to help create your dream hair.
Her creativity doesn’t stop at vivid colour — Zoe also loves working on natural balayage, cutting and bridal hair, creating beautiful styles tailored to each guest.
With her artistic eye and passion for hair, Zoe enjoys bringing fresh ideas to the salon and helping clients achieve looks that feel both individual and inspiring. ✨
Tilly (Director / Balayage Director)
Tilly has been part of the team since she first joined as an apprentice, and over the years she has grown into a highly talented and creative stylist.
She has a real passion for colouring hair and creating beautiful restyles, helping clients transform their look while keeping it personal and wearable. Tilly has a vast knowledge of Aveda colour and is always keen to learn new colouring techniques.
Her passion for the industry and commitment to keeping up with the latest trends ensures she continues to create modern, beautiful hair for her guests. ✨
Leanne (Director / Balayage Director)
Leanne began her career many years ago as an apprentice at Nirvana, so it has been incredible to watch her passion and skills grow and flourish over the years.
She has a real love for creating lived-in blondes, balayage and classic foils, as well as cutting the perfect stylish lob. Her attention to detail and eye for beautiful, wearable colour make her a favourite with many guests.
Leanne’s infectious personality is loved by everyone, and she continues to be a valued and integral part of the Nirvana team. ✨
Nikki (Senior Stylist)
Nikki is a highly talented Senior Stylist who has grown with the salon over the years, perfecting her skills and building a wonderfully loyal client base along the way.
Her clients love her beautiful colour techniques and her stunning signature curls, which have become a real favourite among her guests. Nikki particularly enjoys working with Aveda colour, creating soft, natural tones and sun-kissed, beachy blondes.
Her passion for hair and attention to detail ensure every client leaves the salon feeling confident and refreshed. ✨

Becky (Senior Stylist)
Becky has been with Nirvana for just over a year and has already become an integral part of the team. She brings with her a wealth of passion, experience and a wide range of skills.
Alongside offering all aspects of cutting and colouring, Becky particularly enjoys creating balayage, precision men’s cuts, and working with short hair. She also has a love for perming, adding texture and movement to create beautifully styled hair.
Her enthusiasm for the industry and versatility behind the chair make her a valued member of the Nirvana team. ✨
Sarah (Senior Stylist)
Sarah has been with us for only a few years and has already built a large and loyal following. Her clients love her attention to detail and the beautiful results she creates.
Some of Sarah’s favourite services include beautiful balayages and stunning dimensional brunettes, as well as creating classic blondes. She also enjoys working on long layered cuts and offering fabriq smoothing treatments to help clients achieve smooth, manageable hair.
Sarah’s passion for creating soft, natural-looking hair keeps her clients coming back time and time again. ✨
Chelsea (Stylist)
Chelsea always makes us smile with her positive attitude and real thirst to learn. Watching her skills develop has been a complete joy, and her passion and natural talent shine through in the work she creates.
Chelsea is quickly becoming one of our rising stars within the salon. She loves experimenting with colour and has developed a real skill for creating beautiful balayage and sharp short cuts.

Jasmine (Stylist)
Jaz loves creating beautiful blondes, from golden, sun-kissed tones to icy platinum shades. Her passion for colour allows her to tailor each blonde to perfectly suit her guests.
She also enjoys getting creative with hair styling, making her a great choice if you’re attending a party, prom or wedding. Whether it’s soft waves or an elegant up style, Jaz loves helping clients feel their best for special occasions. ✨
Chloe (Stylist)
Chloe’s caring nature is reflected in her colouring and styling. From beautiful blondes to rich chocolate brunettes, she has a real eye for creating bespoke colours tailored to suit each guest.
She is also extremely talented when it comes to party and bridal hair, creating stunning braided and boho-inspired styles. Her skill and creativity were recognised early on, even winning awards at college for her hair-up work.
Chloe loves helping clients feel confident and special, whether it’s through a beautiful colour or a perfectly styled look for a special occasion. ✨
Maddie (Junior Stylist)
Maddie is one of our rising stars. She has been with us since her apprenticeship and is now fully qualified, which has been wonderful to see.
Her passion for the industry and dedication to learning are reflected in her impressive skill set. Maddie offers a wide range of services including foils, balayage, tints, bobs, short cuts and perms.
With her enthusiasm and growing experience, Maddie is quickly building a loyal client base and creating beautiful results for her guests. ✨
Daisy (Apprentice / Junior Stylist)
Daisy is our Level 2 apprentice and is already showing wonderful promise as she develops her skills in the salon.
She currently offers Aveda tints, toners, hair treatments, one-length haircuts and beautiful blow drys at a discounted price, making her services a great option for guests looking for professional results while supporting her training.
Daisy’s natural talent, friendly personality and caring nature have already seen many guests rebooking with her, and we’re excited to watch her continue to grow within the team. ✨
Hannah (Senior Beauty Therapist / Laser Technician)
Hannah has over 9 years of experience and has been with us since completing her training. Her passion and attention to detail are reflected in every treatment she provides, and she is always keen to continue developing her skills and knowledge.
Hannah enjoys offering a wide range of treatments but particularly specialises in brows and massage. Since the introduction of laser hair removal, this has also become one of her favourite treatments to perform.
With her exceptional knowledge and calm approach, Hannah has a wonderful ability to put even the most nervous clients at ease, ensuring every visit is a relaxing and comfortable experience. ✨
Savannah (Beauty Therapist)
We were lucky to have Savannah join the team straight from college, and it has been a joy to watch her confidence and skills grow. She is extremely talented, friendly, and is already building a loyal client base.
Savannah loves performing our bespoke Aveda facials and waxing treatments, and she is also our specialist nail technician, offering luxurious manicures, pedicures, gel polish and BIAB nails.
She particularly enjoys creating intricate nail art, bringing creativity and precision to every set. Her passion for nails and eye for detail ensure every client leaves with beautifully finished, high-quality results. ✨
Isla (Lash Technician)
Isla has a real passion for all things beauty, with a particular love for lashes. Having completed private training, she offers a range of lash treatments including classic, hybrid, volume, YY and W lashes, as well as lash lifts and tints.
Isla is currently completing her Level 2 & 3 Beauty Diploma at college, and we’re excited for her to expand her treatment menu as she continues to qualify in more areas.
Her enthusiasm for the industry and dedication to developing her skills make her a wonderful addition to the team. ✨
Nicola (Salon Manager)
Nicola has worked at Nirvana for over 10 years, so it’s safe to say she knows most of our clients by now! As Salon Manager, she keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes and is the person to speak to if you have any questions, would like to organise something special, or need help planning wedding hair.
Nicola loves every aspect of the salon, from day-to-day organisation to supporting the team and clients alike. She’s also often seen taking on many other roles around the salon — from IT specialist to plumber and general handyman — always making sure everything is working just as it should! ✨
Carol (Receptionist)
Friendly, caring and always happy to help, Carol is here to look after you and make sure all your bookings are perfectly organised. She’s always on hand to answer any questions and ensure every visit to the salon runs smoothly.
With her warm personality and welcoming nature, Carol helps create the relaxed, friendly atmosphere our clients love.

Where would we be without our fabulous, talented and caring apprentices and assistants? Always on hand to help, they are an essential part of the team and bring great energy and passion for the industry to the salon.
